Whoa! Isn't that just 360 degrees away from the current cultural/fashion pitch. And what makes it even creepier, is that it's a way more healthy attitude than what people are bombarded with now, almost three quarters of a century later, not to mention a lot closer to reality.
Either way, they're just encouraging some subset of the population to feel insecure about their weight. *shrug*
